Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Yummy Deal platform at yummydeal.ca, operated by Yummy Deal Experiences Ltd., a British Columbia corporation incorporated April 6, 2026 and based in Metro Vancouver, BC, Canada ("Yummy Deal", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or claim a deal. By using Yummy Deal, you represent that you meet this age requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. How Yummy Deal Works

Yummy Deal is a web-only marketplace that connects diners with restaurants offering exclusive set menus at a flat price of $25 CAD per person. Diners claim a set menu online and receive a claim code (format YD-XXXXXX) with a QR code. The diner presents the code at the restaurant during the restaurant's operating hours within the deal's validity period — there is no specific time booking. Payment for the meal is made directly at the restaurant; Yummy Deal does not process meal payments.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Claim Codes

• Claim codes are non-transferable and issued to the claiming account only.
• Each code is valid until the deal's posted end date and only during the restaurant's operating hours.
• Codes have no cash value and cannot be combined with other offers unless expressly stated.
• Abuse — such as sharing codes, creating duplicate accounts, or fraud — may result in account suspension and cancellation of outstanding codes.

5. Pricing and Payment

All set menus listed on Yummy Deal are priced at a flat $25 CAD per person, set by Yummy Deal. We may adjust pricing with reasonable notice. Because payment occurs at the restaurant, Yummy Deal does not issue refunds for meals. Disputes regarding the meal itself should be raised with the restaurant directly; we may assist where appropriate.

6. Promotional Codes

From time to time we may offer promotional codes or credits. Each promotion is governed by its own terms, including expiry and usage limits, which will be communicated when the promotion is offered.

7. Role of Yummy Deal; Relationship with Restaurants

Yummy Deal is a marketplace. Participating restaurants are independent businesses — not employees, agents, partners, or joint venturers of Yummy Deal. We do not prepare, serve, or inspect food. We are not responsible for food quality, allergens, hygiene, service levels, or any other aspect of the dining experience. Diners are responsible for communicating their dietary needs and allergy concerns directly to the restaurant.

8. Restaurant Partners

Restaurants apply to join Yummy Deal; applications are reviewed by our admin team. Approved restaurants receive dashboard access and a four-week free trial, after which a paid subscription applies at pricing set by Yummy Deal. Restaurants retain intellectual property rights in the photos, menus, and content they submit, and grant Yummy Deal a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and promote that content on the platform and in related marketing.

9. User-Generated Content

If you submit reviews, comments, or other content to the platform, you grant Yummy Deal a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display and distribute that content in connection with the service. You are responsible for the content you submit and must not post anything unlawful, defamatory, or that infringes third-party rights.

10. Our Rights

We reserve the right to cancel or modify deals, suspend or terminate accounts, adjust pricing with notice, and change or discontinue any part of the platform at our discretion.

11. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account at any time by emailing info@yummydeal.ca. Some information may be retained to satisfy legal and accounting obligations.

12. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yummy Deal Experiences Ltd. and its directors, officers, and personnel are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your dining experience at a restaurant.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
